David Vicente (Madrid, 1974) has got a degree in Political Science (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and a master in EU Studies.

After doing several jobs for a living (warehouse assistant, worker in a bakery plant, waiter or clerk, among others) he started a career in the editorial sector and the world of communication.

He has worked for different publishing houses as a proofreader, reader and editor, and as a writer collaborating for several media in press, radio and TV. During the last few years he has worked scriptwriter in many documentaries, such as Rompamos con el maltrato (Let's break up with abuse) based on the work El diario de Sara (Sarah's Diary). He was also chief editor in the TV channel Literalia Televisión. 

He has also been a columnist in Diario de Alcalá, literature critic in several specialized blogs like La tormenta en un vaso, and has also published short stories and poems in different literature magazines and anthologies  (Salamandria, Barataria, Vinalia Trippers, Los nóveles...).

Un pequeño paso para el hombre is his first unpublished novel.
