Oviedo, 1956. The following titles stand out among his published poetry: Aquelarre en Madrid [Witches' sabbath in Madrid], Ojos de agua [Water Eyes], Cerrado por reformas [Closed for Refurbishment], Gran vía [Gran Vía], El gallo de Bagdad [The Bahdad Rooster], Amor ciego [Blind Love], Bar adentro [The Bar Inside], La semana fantástica [The Fantastic Week], Trampas para perder [Tricks to Lose] and El Corazón no Muere [The Heart Doesn't Die] (Hiperión 2006), as well as Mujeres Encontradas [Found Women] (Sin Sentido 2008), a book of poetic prose.
Author of the manifestos «Perdimos la palabra» [We Lost the Word] (El País, 1987) and «Hacia una Poesía Entrometida» [Towards Meddling Poetry] (Leer, 1989), his work has been compiled in the the anthology El Hombre de la Calle [The Street Man] (Maillot Amarillo, 2001), and has been translated into French with the same name, L'Homme de la Rue (L'Harmattan). His romance-themed work has been anthologized in La Amada Invencible [The Unconquerable Beloved] (Krk Ediciones 2006).
Teacher at the European Institute of Design and at the Madrid College of Architecture and creator of the studio El Nombre de las Cosas, he also founded Aula de las Metáforas, a library of poetry and space for readings and imagination in the Casa de Cultura de Grado [Grado Cultural Arts Center] in Asturias.
Conecta published in October 2011, El Nombre de las cosas a book describing his carreer as 'namer'.
