Alberto Fernández Bombín (Madrid, 1971). Gastrophile and collaborator in various media; wine waiter and wine tasting teacher; owner of the restaurant Asturianos, which was a trendy locale long before he was born, Alberto is currently writing Cocina para infartados [Cuisine post heart attack] , a gourmet cooking manual for those who once thought that they would no longer feel pleasure with food. Since 2006 he collaborates in the program "Para comerte mejor" [To eat better] by Canal Cocina, and collaborates with MAN magazine with articles about wines, gastronomy and travel, as well as Metrópoli by El Mundo with gastronomy critique and interviews; in the magazine Cocina Futuro, of which he is a member on the editorial board, and in the program on gastronomy trends and culinary debate, "A la mesa", by esradio.
He has run presentations by star chefs like Ferrán Adriá and Juan Mari Arzak at Millesimé and is currently immersed with José Peñín on the contents of a television program on the world of wine.
Víctor de la Serna has said of Alberto Fernández: "Alberto is great. And, take note: his program, despite all its craziness, is a positive contribution to gastronomy at the dawn of the twenty-first century. Less boring academic drag and more fun, more good vibes...what's important is that what we eat is tasty and far from boring!".
