Journalist, philologist and writer, she works as a travel and food writer for several media (Gourmet, Traveler Conde Nast, Siete Leguas, Vinum, DT) and writes a blog called Comerse El Mundo for the online supplement of El Mundo (www.ocholeguas.com).  She is culinary inspector of one of the most important guides in the country and has participated as judge and presenter in various venues such as the Gourmetour Guide Prizes, the Desert Bakeoff Contest for children (Azucarera Española), or as member of the panel of judges at the Valladolid Tapa Fair, among others. Presenter of the television program ¡A desayunar! [Time for breakfast!] on Canal Cocina (Digital Plus). Author of the book Desayunos en Madrid. Del churro al brunch [Breakfast in Madrid.  From churros to brunch] (RBA, 2008). She has been a speaker at the X Congreso Nacional de Periodismo Digital [10th National Congress on Digital Journalism], in the section titled Informar desde la Cocina [Report from the Kitchen]. She has taught about Travel and Gastronomy in summer courses at the Camilo José Cela University.  And she also had a participatory teaching role in the course [Communicators for Tourism, Leisure, Free Time and Environment], organized by Madrid's Complutense University, teaching the class "El Periodista turístico, gastronómico y de viajes" [The tourism, food, and travel journalist]. Author of 'Asturias in Madrid', a 2009 publication for the Principality of Asturias.  She has collaborated as a fiction writer in several projects and her last published story was in the book Todo o Nada [All or Nothing] (Ed. Akrón. 2008).  Her new book Templos de la tapa [Temples of the tapa] was just published by RBA; this new treatise on food includes the best locales in and around Madrid.
