Madrid, 1965. Writer with a degree in Geography and History, she has worked since 1989 in several fields of social and art history of Spain. Among her publications there are various articles, catalogues of expositions and books, always characterized by rigorous information and unprecedented research.  She has authored scripts for cultural television series and has been a regular collaborator on radio shows.

In 1993 she received the Campomanes Prize by the Royal Economics Society of Madrid for her research on the history of Madrid.  She collaborated with the Royal Academy of History on its monumental Diccionario biográfico español [Spanish biographical dictionary].

She is the author of La Chata. La Infanta Isabel de Borgón y la Corona de España [La Chata. Princess Isabel of Borgón and the Spanish Crown], published with great success by La Esfera de los Libros, and of Reinas de España. Siglos XVIII-XXI: de María Luisa Gabriela de Saboya a Leticia Ortiz [Queens of Spain.  Centuries XVIII-XXI: from María Luisa Gabriela de Saboya to Leticia Ortiz ] published in 2009 by the same Publisher.

On February the 14th, La Esfera de los Libros publishes her historical novel titled El cerrajero del rey [The king's locksmith].
